Undated Broadcasts Project — The 3,000-Broadcast Milestone Reached

With the completion of This update, the Master Undated Broadcast Resolution Pipeline has officially crossed the monumental 3,000-Broadcast Resolution Milestone, bringing the cumulative total to 3,021 verified broadcasts across 62 completed updates.

Launching our fourth major series in Stage 1, Ann of the Airlanes (88e59c1f-61f3-44ee-95d4-1f5bc72f8606), this update resolves the first 50 sequential daily broadcasts (Episodes 1 through 50). Produced by the Transcription Company of America (Transco) and syndicated Monday through Friday to stations nationwide beginning in September 1935, the series stars Bobbe Deane as Ann Burton, an ambitious young woman aspiring to become an airline hostess (flight attendant) who is thrust into dangerous international counter-espionage investigations alongside pilot Jack Post.

Airing between September 2 and November 8, 1935, this opening 50-episode cohort takes listeners on an exhilarating round-the-world adventure:

  • The Florida Smuggling Ring & The Hurricane (Episodes 1–16): Ann and Jack take to the skies in the high-speed amphibian monoplane dubbed the Aircat, uncovering an interstate contraband syndicate led by a corrupt physician known as Doc. While flying into a ferocious tropical hurricane over southern Florida, Jack reveals his identity as a federal secret service agent.
  • The Everglades Infiltration & The Parachute Jump (Episodes 17–25): Ann stows away in the smuggler aircraft's cargo bay behind crates of illicit diamonds. Captured by the syndicate and tied to hangar pillars, the duo breaks free, commandeers an amphibian seaplane, and splashes down in the Atlantic.
  • Marooned on the Cay & The Trans-Atlantic Crossing (Episodes 26–39): Marooned on an uncharted Caribbean cay, Ann and Jack discover iron chests filled with uncut smuggled diamonds. After repairing their engine, they embark on a daring trans-Atlantic flight, refueling in Trinidad and braving volcanic crater vents on Inaccessible Island.
  • The African Safari & The Lion Pit (Episodes 40–50): Arriving in Cape Town, the adventurers trail Doc into East Angola. After Ann cures a tribal chieftain's throat obstruction with field medicine, tribal guides assist in rescuing young expedition mascot Bobby and native youth Swanga from a predator-filled rock pit.

Reaching 3,021 broadcasts resolved across the master project ledger, each entry features verified daily airdates, standardized aviation-adventure taxonomy, and pure narrative synopses.
